Our vision for transforming food systems is in Phase 1, which focuses on Colombian cacao. This solution can be scaled to any commodity and any geography; it just so happens that chocolate is sexier than onions. This will allow for a more traceable, transparent, and trustworthy food system based on quality and social and environmental good.
The initial investment will fund the Phase 1 project, which will focus on 100 cacao-producing families living below the poverty line in Arauca, Colombia.
This will include the following milestones:
Strengthening the C4P vertical value chain infrastructure to commercialize finished and semi-finished products, increasing cacao producers’ revenue.
Record cacao origin, quality, and movement through the value chain until it becomes chocolate.
Provide farmers with access to technology and capacity building (smartphone, self-sovereign identity, record-keeping app, e-wallet).
DIEN Chocolate brand positioning as the first smart chocolate for peace.
Conduct market intelligence research and activate our sales team to penetrate the North American market.
Strengthen a public-private consortium to scale our solution Colombia-wide.
